Welcome to the Faculty Leadership for Writing Initiative

The Faculty Leadership for Writing Initiative is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln Program of Excellence. Centered in the writing expertise of the Composition Program and guided by a diverse Steering Committee of faculty and K-12 teachers, the FLWI aims to build leadership for writing across the university and in Nebraska schools. We provide a coordinated program of professional development to help instructors in any discipline and across grade levels to integrate writing into their courses in order to enhance student learning. In addition to partnering with various programs on campus, we run workshops and sponsor inquiry groups.
